Chronic & acute anxiety
Persistent worry, physical tension, and a mind that won't slow down.

ANXIETY, CBT & ACT · CALIFORNIA TELEHEALTH
Quiet chronic worry, panic, and overthinking with CBT and ACT. Warm, direct, evidence-based therapy for people who are tired of bracing for the worst.
DOES THIS SOUND FAMILIAR?
Chronic anxiety can feel like your brain and body are constantly bracing for something to go wrong. From the outside, you look capable. On the inside, you're running on adrenaline. You might…
Anxiety isn't a character flaw. It's a pattern your mind learned to keep you safe, and it can learn a new one.
HOW CBT & ACT WORK

I combine well-researched therapies, so you get both clearer thinking and a steadier relationship with your feelings.
Identify and challenge catastrophic worry loops and automatic negative thoughts, and change the habits that keep anxiety going.
Learn mindfulness and defusion skills so you can stop fighting anxious feelings and take action aligned with what matters to you.
Explore what defines a meaningful life, and build the willingness to live it, anxiety and all.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Sessions are active and practical. You'll leave each one with something to try, not just something to think about.
We map your worry loops, physical symptoms, and the patterns that keep the fear running in circles.
CBT helps you examine catastrophic thinking and test it against what's actually true.
ACT skills help you make room for discomfort without letting it take the wheel, and calm your body when anxiety spikes.
We clarify your values and take real steps toward them, even when anxiety wants you to play it safe.
AREAS OF FOCUS
Persistent worry, physical tension, and a mind that won't slow down.
Perfectionism, imposter syndrome, and people-pleasing that leave you running on empty.
Sudden adrenaline spikes, chest tightness, and the avoidance that follows.
Fear of judgment, over-analyzing interactions, and self-doubt that holds you back.
Endless analyzing, second-guessing, and replaying that leaves you drained.
If your anxiety drives checking, reassurance-seeking, or intrusive thoughts, it may be OCD, which responds best to ERP.

QUESTIONS ABOUT ANXIETY THERAPY
For many people, yes. CBT and ACT work well over secure video, and many clients find it easier to open up from a space where they already feel comfortable.
CBT helps you examine and change unhelpful thoughts and habits. ACT helps you make room for uncomfortable feelings so they stop running your choices. Used together, they give you more than one way through.
Yes. You'll learn what's happening in your body during panic, how to ride out the sensations, and how to stop avoidance from making your world smaller.
They can overlap. If your worry comes with rituals, checking, or a strong need for reassurance, it may be OCD. We'll sort that out together in your consultation so you get the right approach.
Not at all. Many people start when anxiety is manageable but exhausting. You don't have to wait until it gets worse.
I'm an out-of-network provider. Many PPO plans, including Anthem, Aetna, Blue Shield, Cigna, and UnitedHealthcare, reimburse a portion of session fees once your deductible is met. I partner with Mentaya so you never have to file superbills or paperwork yourself. We can check your benefits before we start.
